The NEW Cover Is HERE!!!

We are extremely pleased to present the OFFICIAL cover of Wounded Worlds: Nihil Novum, drawn and colored by the very talented João Ribiero.

While we've got you here, let's take a look at the other cover iterations that were considered (all images © 2013 Ryan Hodge):

We considered a 'space opera' style cover, similar to Star Wars. While we'd still love to see the characters of Wounded Worlds fully realized in illustration, we decided that it would have been better to go with a simpler cover design.

 

Here we experimented with different styles of the 'insignia' cover.

 

 

Once we had a perspective we liked, we examined what style of insignia should represent the book. The insignia itself is based on descriptions of the Civilian Service Corps' Commissarial sigil within the text.

 

 



 At length, we were ready to start realizing the cover concept itself. We briefly flirted with having a stark all-black background, but decided that a space scene would be more striking.
