Wounded Worlds: Nihil Novum centers around the lives of Ruan Altman, a human from Earth and Fa'ashi Orrin, a novum from Talveras. Both of them have survived decades under the occupation of both their worlds by the Hilean Empire. Ruan chose to fight the Empire, Fa'ashi chose a far different path. But they are both small portions of a larger story; a story of resistance, broken promises, utter failures, and unlikely victories. They are merely observes, peering dimly with their limited perceptions into the murky and treacherous waters of history.

The races may be different, the cultures alien, but every world has its secrets. Every world has its scars.
